"Replica"
This piece of work wasn't my favorite to do. During my college years, most of the art teachers always wanted us to not create something new, but to create replicas of pieces of work that already exist; they wanted us to draw a room as it is already seen. I, however, held onto this piece not because I enjoyed creating a piece of art that already existed in the world, but to remind me that no matter how hard I try, my work will always be different in a way. Every artist I have ever seen always holds something of their own style within their work, and instead of embracing similarities, we, as individuals, need to embrace our differences more often.
