Every creation needs a starting point. Sketching allows for thoughts to flow, ideas to take root, and becomes a foundation for a future piece of work. Anything can be used when creating a sketch. Sometimes I use only pencils, sometimes I use colored pencils, and sometimes my sketches take a hold of me and I'm creating an art piece with markers and all. The bottom line is, we all have our own starting point for everything we do. Sketching is mine.
