I started calligraphy during COVID. Cursive was a starting point in writing. I'm still unsure why I was taught cursive before regular handwriting, but I appreciate it now. It allowed me to express creativity while writing. During COVID, I became fascinated with a friend's fountain and dip pens; he allowed me to use them, and I was lost in wonder. I took it upon myself afterward to explore calligraphy. I'm still learning and progressing as time goes on, but I hope one day to fully grasp it.
