San Jose, Costa Rica, is surrounded by beautiful waterfalls that bring life into this tropical country. Incorporating aspects of the waterfalls into La Selina Spa brings a part of Costa Rica's beauty inside, creating a relaxing, rejuvenating, and nature inspired medical spa for locals and tourists. The water flows over the rocks and winds its way down the terrain of Costa Rica, creating a unique pattern. This pattern is incorporated throughout the medical spa, with elements of nature added throughout the pattern to correspond with the existing plants and trees that surround the waterfall. Waterfalls are placed throughout the hotel with stone backing to represent Costa Rica’s beautiful natural waterfalls.

Colors from the stone and water are used throughout the space to complete the feeling of being near an actual waterfall located in Costa Rica.
